Sarajevo Football Club qualified for the 1/4 finals of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the 1/8 finals rematch, which took place today, the players selected by Meho Kodro won against the team of Travnik at the Pirota stadium with the result 3:2. Miloš Stojčev, Samir Radovac and Krste Velkoski scored goals. The current winner of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina started the match today with four players under the age of 21. our young goalkeeper Emir Plakalo, midfielders Samir Radovac and Faris Handžić and defender Adnan Kovačević played at the Pirota stadium. Apart from this, let’s also mention that a young twenty-two year old Macedonian Risto Mitrevski made his official debut. The Maroon Club opened the match better. In the 4th minute, Todorović made a shot but without any change. Two minutes later, Bilbija made a shot directly to the goalkeeper and the players of Travnik threatened for the first time by a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute of the match, Stojčev made a free kick but the ball went beside the goal. Ten minutes later, Travnik had a chance but Plakalo defended his net. In the 30th minute, Sarajevo took the lead. Handžić and Radovac made couple of good passes, and then passed the ball to Stojčev who scored a goal with a precise shot. In the 41st minute Travnik levelled the result. Adriano managed the best and scored the goal for 1:1. However, just before the players went on the break, Mitrevski passed the ball to Radovac who then entered the penalty area and scored for another lead of Sarajevo. The team from Travnik opened the second half, Adriano made a good break, but Plakalo defended his shot. On the other side, Stojčev made a shot from 18 meters of distance and the goalkeeper of "Vezirs" barely managed to put the ball into corner. In the 56th minute, Sarajevo attempted through Stojčev and Radovac, but there still was no change of the result. In the 59th minute our coaching staff made a double replacement. Ševko Okić and Krste Velkoski joined the game and Miloš Stojčev and Nemanja Bilbija left. Not long after that, Mitrevski made a shot by his head but the ball went over the goal. On the other side, Adriano came out in front of Plakalo but the young goalkeeper of our Club defended well. In the 75th minute of the match, Travnik levelled the result. Golomanscored the goal. Fifteen minutes before the end of the match, Miroljub Kostić joined the game instead of Samir Radovac, the scorer of the second goal for Sarajevo. In the 78th minute, Todorović made a centre shot and Velkoski scored a goal for another lead of Sarajevo. Until the end of the match, Velkoski had another chance but without change. With the final result of 7:2, Sarajevo Football Club eliminated Travnik from the further competition and qualified for the 1/4 finals of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
